On Italian tomato sauce and baked porkchops

I had the sudden urge to cook yesterday afternoon and texted my brother to buy me ingredients at the nearby market. Recipe for dinner: Italian tomato sauce and baked porkchops.

I always loved the spaghetti over at Yellow cab, with its big, delectable meatballs. And Bill, coming from a step mother who is pure Italian, loves this sour sauce. I decided to give it a try. It was easy to do and I got it on the first try. The porkchops however, I wasn't too lucky. My brother had to wait for two long hours before he could eat a very tough, burnt piece of meat. Yep, he ate it. Didn't want to hurt the feelings of a very pregnant, younger sister. Wink!

Hi Carla! I'm a big fan of sour tomato sauce too... I was raised on those italian-style spaghetti. Never liked timplang-pinoy spaghetti like Jollibee. I've always told myself na food should never be sweet, unless it was dessert :D

Points for the effort! :)
